Genocide, evidence of human cruelty.


Genocide is the systematic massacres committed by certain parties. Massacre intended to destroy a nation or tribe that is considered dangerous. Genocide is one of four human rights violations, which are within the jurisdiction of the international criminal court.

while the Roma statutory, is genocide acts committed with intent to destroy all nation, ethnical, racial, or religious group by killing members of the group, causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group, creating conditions of life that creates physical extermination part / whole, taking action to prevent births within the group, forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Genocide is an example of the cruelty of a human group, which calls itself the nation or society. many reasons why a nation to destroy the other nations, they usually assume a certain group of dangerous so it is necessary to destroy the group. but, more often, and the concern is due to differences in beliefs or religion. every religion teaches about peace right ? so why should this be so? possible to power, or to demonstrate to other nations that the nation is strong.
The following are the events of the genocide that happened in our beloved earth:
  • Massacre of Canaan by the Jewish nation in the first millennium BC.
  • Massacre of Helvetia nation by Julius caesar nation in the 1st century BC.
  • Celtic tribal massacre by the Anglo-saxon in Britain and Ireland since the 7th century.
  • Indian genocide on the continent of America by European explorers since 1492.
  • Aboijin tribal massacres in Australia by the United Kingdom since 1788.
  • Armenian massacre by several groups of Turks at the end of World War 1.
  • the massacre of the Jews, the gypsies, and Slavic tribes by the Nazis (Germans) during World War 2.
  • the massacre of more than 2 million people by the Khmer Rouge regime in the late 1970s.
  • massacre of Kurdish people by Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq in 1980'an.
  • in the year 1982 - 1983, there were about 75,000 murders maya indian tribes by Efrain Rios Montt, a dictator in Guatemala.
  • slaughter ethnic Tutsis and moderate Hutus by Hutu extremist group in rwanda in 1994.
  • Massacre of Bosnia & Croatia ethnic by Serbia in  Yugoslavia, one of which was the massacre Sebrenica, in the year 1991-1996.
  • slaughter of blacks by the Janjaweed militias in Sudan in 2004.
